Prior to forming Lang Business Law, Steve Lang practiced law for a combined ten years with a large national firm and a very large international firm.  He also practiced for many years in smaller, general practice firms.  Steve's prior experience allowed him the opportunity to work on very large transactions and with individuals and smaller companies.  Steve is able to use his broad experience to bring practical solutions to each client, and he understands that the same solution does not work for every client or for every transaction.

Steve was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to attend Emory.  He has spent most of his legal career in Atlanta, but he also spent three years practicing law in South Florida.  He is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Florida, and continues to represent businesses and individuals in Florida.

Steve enjoys running and has completed numerous marathons, half-marathons and other distance races. He has traveled the country running, including participating in races in Atlanta, Miami, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Diego, Richmond, New Orleans, Scottsdale and Sonoma, and he hopes to one day qualify for the Boston Marathon.  But nowadays, he mostly enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons.

Steve has served on the executive committee of the Atlanta Bar Association’s charity comedy production, “A Courthouse Line,” which is the premier fundraiser for the Atlanta Bar Foundation, as a writer, actor, assistant director and co-director, and he still helps out with comedy writing and some bad acting when asked.  He also previously served on the executive board of the Goizueta Alumni Entrepreneur Network (Emory University) in Atlanta.

Steve received a B.S. in Business Administration, with honors, with a  Finance major and an Economics minor from the University of Florida in 1993.  He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.), with distinction, from Emory University School of Law in 1998.
